A few things have always been true about me. I love fashion. I love beauty products. I love shopping, not only for myself, but for others too. And for as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of owning my own store. A place where I could share products I genuinely believe in and have come to love myself.

As an accountant of 30 years, this dream once felt impossibly out of reach. Safe, sensible, and familiar paths have a way of convincing you to stay put. But I came to realise that taking a leap of faith in pursuit of a dream, even a frightening one, is far better than living with the regret of never trying at all.

So at the end of 2025, I stepped away from my career and began building something deeply personal: MEGZ. The store is named after my eldest daughter, who has inspired me for many years. The name is a reminder of youth and the bravery that comes with it. In your twenties, everything still feels possible, and it is that sense of optimism and enthusiasm I wanted woven into the heart of this store.

Megan also means pearl, a gemstone revered for its beauty, elegance, and simplicity, and long regarded as a cultural icon. The products I curate for MEGZ reflect those same qualities. Thoughtful, timeless, and chosen with care. Each item is something I would use myself, gift to someone I love, or keep close because it brings a little beauty into the everyday.

MEGZ is, at its core, a celebration of courage, femininity, and believing that it is never too late to begin again. But more simply put, it is a dream of mine come true, and I invite you to share in this dream of mine.
